Reflection

The CV was, while not the most enjoyable of the assignments, the assignment with which I encountered the least trouble. Having a master copy of a CV with all of my prior experience proved invaluable, per usual, and made the writing process incredibly simple. It was strange to write a CV that included something complete rather than in-progress in the education section, as well as adding skills that I have not yet acquired but will in the near future. Overall, it was both entirely familiar and strange, something I've done countless times before and something I was doing for the first time ever. Silly as it may be, I am about to be the first person in my family to receive a post-secondary education, and nobody in my family has ever had to write a CV for a job like the one for which I wrote this CV, so I felt oddly accomplished throughout the Cover Letter and CV writing processes.

Feedback

Criticism for the CV

This assignment was the magnum opus, it seems, as there was no criticism given. I'm very glad that my final assignment of the quartet ended on a high note, and that I seem to have improved markedly over the course of the assignments. I'm tentatively optimistic for the future, the not-so-distant point at which I will be applying for real jobs with real cover letters and CVs, and I will likely use this as the template for my first job applications out of school, at least. These assignments were ideal for the current moment, as I am one semester away from a work placement, meaning that the search will begin in earnest during the summer semester. I am glad to have received all of this feedback, and look forward to what these freshly-honed skills may bring.
